You've taken the classes and scanned the online job postings. But what does it really take to get that Communications dream job? Come find out at Communications Career Day, with an entire day full of all the answers to your questions. Featuring resume preparation, interview skills and a communications careers brainstorm, take all you learn and get the chance to network with local professionals at the end of the day. There will also be panel discussions with topics that will pique your interest, including "Diverse careers in communications" and "Young people in the biz, and how they got their start." The keynote,
"Get a job using social media," can even teach you how to turn all those hours on Facebook into real-time dollars.

On Saturday, November 6th we'll hold our annual Portfolio Seminar.
This is the first part of the Ad Club's infamous Portfolio Camp, with the portfolio review coming up in the spring. Attend this casual, informative seminar for advice straight from the pros - we'll have several professional print and web designers, art directors and advertising gurus there to fill you in on what it takes to pull together a kick-ass portfolio. Chat with pros from 12 Grain Studio, Crowley Webb Associates, Eric Mower and Associates, The Martin Group, and more!

10:15 AM - Noon - Panelists present

Noon - 1 PM - Lunch and time to meet the pros and check out their portfolios
