Consider it a camp for careers!

At the Ad Club of Buffalo's student portfolio review, a variety of professionals from the field of advertising and marketing will be on hand to review student portfolios. The goal is to help students wanting to enter the field in the creative capacity of designer or illustrator prepare for today's competitive marketplace.

Seniors and second-semester juniors from four-year programs and final-semester students from two-year programs who are enrolled in communication art disciplines (including design and illustration) are eligible to attend.

$1,000 in scholarships to be awarded

We will award $500 scholarships at the Review to two eligible students in attendance, based on portfolio presentation (students are eligible for a scholarship if they are returning to school in the Fall 2009 semester in a related field).

Space is limited; register early!

Invitations with registration forms are being mailed to college instructors in early March for distribution to students. We will accept the first 40 students whose registration forms and $20 registration fee are received by mail by the RSVP due date of Friday, March 27. The registration fee includes lunch. Absolutely no late reservations will be accepted, no exceptions. Online registration not permitted.

Registering students who provide an email address on their registration form will receive email confirmation that they are registered. Accepted students can arrive between 9:00 and 9:45 a.m. the day of the Review. This will give them time to sign in, get settled at their tables and review other student portfolios before the Review begins promptly at 10 am.
